Sankt Florian, Upper Austria   July  25  Opening flora pondtemporary 2025   Exhibition: August - October 2025. Stiftsteiche.  Sankt FLorian/Linz. New works by Tobias Pilz and Lisa Grosskopf will be on display at the Stiftsteichen, while Domingo Chaves has been invited to create a work for the Mother Of Pearl pavilion. The opening will feature a performance by Ursula Maria Probst & Raashish India and a reading by Nika Pfeifer.  In addition, the sauna that was created as part of the Plateau Blo project for the Capital of Culture Salzkammergut 2024 will also be floating on the monastery ponds from now on. The writer Friederike Mayröcker by Carmen Tartarotti, IT/AT/DE 2009  ⁄ 90' ⁄ Subtitles: EN. She may still be an insider tip in Belgium, but in German-speaking countries she is an absolute icon: Friederike Mayröcker, the experimental word magician who revolutionized the literary scene with her extensive collected works published by Suhrkamp. A collaboration between CINEMATEK, Vrije Universiteit Brussel, and the Austrian Cultural Forum Brussels. Talk & discussion after the screening with Prof. Inge Arteel (VUB) and poet Nika Pfeifer.

Krems  May 16  Poet in Focus: Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz (1648-1695)   Literaturhaus NÖ Krems   In the series ‘Poets in Focus’, 2025 will see one of the most important poets of Baroque lyricism, the Mexican nun and poet Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz, take centre stage in the poetic debate. Christoph W. Bauer, curator of the series, has selected and translated eight poems for contemporary adaptation. Timo Brandt, Jan Koneffke, Sabine Gruber, Frieda Paris, Ariane von Graffenried, Nika Pfeifer, Arne Rautenberg, and Dieter Zwicky engage with Sor Juana's poetry and continue to write it. The texts will be published in autumn 2025 by Edition Aramo.
